Hand crafted from our slightly drier Shiraz vineyard, located at a lower vineyard site with decomposed granite soils and a cool microclimate. This Shiraz is crafted in a classic style, elegant in flavour with luscious dark fruit characters and spice due to the high altitude and proximity to the ocean.
An elegant, savoury, white pepper spiced nose with a touch of purple flower perfume, origanum and leather to the mulberry and black cherry. Elegant spice and concentration, delivered with dense, powdery tannins. The palate is tight and intricately structured. Layers of flavour unfold to reveal core of sweet red fruits – raspberries and red cherries with a slight herbal origanum edge to the finish.
A wine of finesse with cool sophistication and a creamy texture.
